UPDATE as of 26 July 2026
As of July 2026, the necessary paperwork has been initiated with the various government agencies in the State of Washington (USA) to dissolve the nonprofit. The dissolution is scheduled for 9 September 2026 (9/9/2026).
A brief overview of the organization
The Ganesan Family Educational Foundation (aka GFEF) was a nonprofit corporation established in the State of Washington (USA) in August 2023; we worked with organizations in India/United States and disbursed multiple grants for educational causes.
We were set up as a 501(c)(3) ~ tax-exempted private family foundation ~ in accordance with IRS rules/regulations.
We feel we have accomplished most of our objectives in our 3 years of existence; therefore, we have decided to dissolve the organization.
We continue to believe that education allows for the betterment of lives, communities and the world ~ Education changes lives!
I created the foundation to honor the legacy of my amazing parents, The Ganesans, and give back in a small way; I wanted to honor their enormous sacrifices and their exemplary vision on how a good educational base benefits everyone.
